The Sabah Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (KPSTI) in collaboration with the Sabah State Integrity and Governance Division (BIGoNS) held a three-day Workshop on the Development of an Anti-Corruption Strategy for the Year 2026–2030, from 26 to 28 August 2026, located at the AI Experiential Hub, Level 9, Wisma Bandaraya, Kota Kinabalu.
This workshop is an effort to develop the KPSTI organizational anti-corruption strategy for the period 2026–2030, with a focus on a 'Brainstorming' session to identify issues, risks and challenges that may arise in the implementation of the ministry's functions and service delivery. This session also serves as a platform for participants to share views, experiences and suggestions in identifying potential areas for corruption and misconduct, in addition to examining weaknesses and aspects that require strengthening in existing systems and work processes.
The results of the discussions and findings of this workshop will be used as important input in the next process to form a more comprehensive, focused and effective anti-corruption strategy, in line with KPSTI's commitment to strengthening a culture of integrity, transparency, accountability and good governance in the delivery of public services.
