Sabah Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, YB Datuk James Ratib, received a courtesy call from a delegation from SMK Taun Gusi II, Kota Belud, led by the school's Principal, Tuan Soo Yong Huat, at his official office. The meeting provided a space for constructive discussions to exchange views in detail on current developments, infrastructure issues, and the urgent needs of the education sector at the secondary school level to ensure a more conducive learning environment.

Also joining the delegation were the Senior Assistant for Administration and Senior Assistant for Student Affairs of SMK Taun Gusi II. YB Datuk James Ratib expressed his deepest gratitude for this visit and expressed his commitment that the State Government through the Sabah Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (KPSTI) is always concerned and ready to provide strong support to school institutions in advancing the educational agenda and character of Sabah children, in line with the aspirations of Sabah Maju Jaya.
